No worries if summer vacation meant taking a break from work and practice. Exercise enthusiasts, gym newbies, or those looking for a little fitness inspiration can take advantage of free classes at two celebrity-endorsed Houston gyms.

The celebrity favorite is opening the doors to its flagship Post Oak location with a grand opening celebration this weekend. The massive fitness center is over 17,000 square feet with six group exercise rooms and nearly 200 classes per week.
The most popular classes, which are preferred by Jennifer Lopez and her former beau Alex Rodriguez, include HIIT, Hot Pilates, Cycle, Barefoot Bootcamp, Tru Yin Yoga, Yoga Flow, and Hot Barre.
“I realized over the years how much I hated going to the gym; it was boring and repetitive,” TruFusion executive member Natalie Buckel said in a statement. “This place has finally solved that problem with the variety of classes. There is a class for everyone and a selection of many amazing instructors who bring their own creativity to the workouts. To top it off, the property is beautiful and classy with top-notch amenities.
Newcomers are invited to experience the one-of-a-kind fitness center on Saturday, August 27 during a grand opening celebration. Free fitness classes led by top instructors, plus snacks, drinks, live music and prizes will be part of the fun at this exclusive event, running 5:15 p.m. to 9 p.m.
If the sparkle of a new gym isn’t enough to get you off the couch, Blink Fitness has four locations in Houston to help get you motivated. Launching September 12, Blink Fitness presents gymnosis – a series of free gym and virtual hypnosis sessions to help people get and stay motivated to work out.
Gymnosis, which is used by celebrities and athletes, including Tiger Woods and Olivia Munnis used to overcome mental obstacles and realize the mental and physical benefits of exercise.
The sessions last about 45 minutes and take place in a group with about 10 to 30 people per session. Registration is mandatory and limited time slots are available. There is no cost or obligation to participate, and Gymnosis is open to Blink Fitness members and non-members.
“A commitment to training and wellness requires self-motivation,” Blink Fitness CEO Todd Magazine noted in a statement. “Gathering that motivation can be difficult.”
