- Get organized. File it or throw it away. Don’t stack it.
- Always network. It’s not about who you know; it’s about who knows you.
- Be ready. Write down the objections and include them in your next presentation.
- Pick up the phone. Make an appointment or close the sale. Call suspects and prospects who have said, “Follow up after the holidays.”
- 3 B of the sale. Be brilliant. Be brief. To leave.
- Listen more. We have two ears and one mouth for a reason.
- Say thank you!” People like to feel appreciated.
- Set your goals. Know what you want and why you want it.
- Pushing. Procrastination is a five-syllable word for lazy people.
- Give your best. Love what you do. Make your presentation so compelling that they’re ready to buy before you’re done. Dress for success.
- Followed. Build trust and show you’re serious. Follow-up can turn a no into a yes.
- Continuous improvement. Focus on what you do best and keep improving.
- Understand what the buyer’s goals are. Help her achieve good results.
- Watch for buy signals. Ask test closing questions throughout the sales process to get good results.
- Always be positive and enthusiastic. If you wake up and aren’t really excited, go back to bed.
- Make plans, not resolutions. Our next activity will be a fitness center for January and a pub for February to December.
- Use humor. I told my wife that I wanted to be cremated. She made an appointment for me for Tuesday. Everyone is busy, stressed, overwhelmed and underestimated. Laughter is the best medicine.
