Falling is a very common problem among older people. A report from the National Council of Aging, USA, notes: “Every 11 seconds an older person is admitted to the emergency room with a fall-related injury and every 19 minutes an older person dies from a fall. Although no two falls are the same and fall prevention is quite complex, regular exercise reduces the likelihood of falls by 23%.
