How “The Fitness Range” is helping improve physical health in the community

ENDICOTT (WBNG) – As we begin to transition to sunnier weather, more and more people are taking advantage of this opportunity to improve their physical health, whether it is with walks to raise awareness or playing sports.

Robert Burdick, owner of The Fitness Range, said during the pandemic it was difficult for most people to work out in gyms, so he started a personal training business that would give residents a safe space to work on their health.

“A lot of people are intimidated by the gym and I wanted to create an environment where people don’t have to be intimidated and where people just feel comfortable and eager to get healthy,” Robert Burdick said.

He says physical health is essential to your quality of life and that people of all ages should stay active.

“When you are older, you will want to be able to do activities with your children or grandchildren, and say yes to them! we can hike, yeah I can bring the rock salt in the garage, yeah we can sled. You don’t want to tell them no, I can’t do that. You want to improve your quality of life as much as you can for as long as you can,” said Robert Burdick.

He adds that all of the equipment is beginner-friendly and that he provides personal training for all residents 16 and older.
