IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, today announced the signing of two new Voco Hotels in Guadalajara and Saltillo, Mexico. These signings mark the introduction of the upscale hotel brand voco hotels to the Mexican market and an extension of its global reach beyond its current presence in major cities in the United States, Europe, Asia, from Africa and Australia.

Scheduled to open in late 2022 under the ownership of Vertex Ophthalmic Group, Hotel voco Guadalajara Neruda will occupy five floors of the 11-story Neruda 2828 mixed-use project in the city’s Financial District. With 104 rooms, a restaurant and neighborhood bar, a rooftop terrace, and business and fitness centers, the hotel will welcome business and leisure travelers in a comfortable and reliable environment, but also dynamic and unique.

Hotel voco Saltillo is slated to open in 2023, with owner and developer American Hotels Group leading the conversion of a property originally built into a freestanding hotel in 2006. Conveniently located in the automotive and manufacturing district of Saltillo and adjacent to the American Sports Center entertainment complex, voco hotel Saltillo will feature 125 suites, over 700 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, indoor pool, and restaurant and bar.
