Improv class at the Pasadena Senior Center

A new “Let Us Play” class will be offered every Wednesday, February 2 through March 23, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. onsite at the Pasadena Senior Center for adults 50 and older.

The course will include playful acting lessons and improv games designed to increase mental focus, build confidence and maintain group bonds.

Participants will tap into the wells of creativity and spontaneity within them in a safe, supportive and warm atmosphere as they embrace the joy of playing together. The course is taught by the husband and wife team of Mark and Ilona Jennings.

The cost of the eight-week course is just $65 for Pasadena Senior Center members and $75 for non-members. Everyone who registers will be emailed a link to join the classare in line.

In addition to online classes, onsite events, and other activities, Pasadena Senior Center members and nonmembers are encouraged to regularly visit the website for a monthly magazine, COVID updates specifically for people elderly, and more.

In accordance with LA County Public Health Department guidelines, proof of COVID vaccination is required for anyone using the fitness center or attending on-site activities inside.

The Pasadena Senior Center, at 85 E. Holly St., is an independent, donor-supported nonprofit organization that has served seniors for more than 60 years.
