Rangers kids Josh McPake and Leon King have held double gym sessions, aiming to build up their fitness ahead of the Ibrox club’s return to pre-season on Monday.

Winger McPake, from Coatbridge, was already hard at work at Commando X-Fit at Hillington Park but has now been joined by defender King.

The 18-year-old stopper is believed to have impressed at Ibrox, having broken into the first team.

McPake, meanwhile, is attracting a lot of interest from clubs wanting to loan him out.

However, soccer scotland report that the 20-year-old is likely to undergo a pre-season at Rangers, giving boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst another opportunity to look him over.

McPake has been linked this month with loans to clubs as diverse as Hapoel Be’Er Sheva, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Queen of the South.
