JAMMU, 18th October: Calling on the youths of Jammu region to stick together and take responsibility in upholding Dogra ethics, Chairman of Team Jammu Zorawar Singh Jamwal said today that he is great time to mobilize the masses to fight the ongoing battle against the drug menace. to a logical conclusion.
Speaking at the inauguration of Viva Fitness Club, Lower Roop Nagar, here today, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said, “Now is the time for the young people of Jammu region to take the initiative and meet the expectations of the population. It is now the young people who must take a step forward and lead their fight against social evil.
“Jammu stands at the crossroads. On the one hand, it is going through a very crucial juncture as forces hostile to brotherhood and community harmony are determined to set this region on fire for their petty political gains, while on the other hand, the mafia drugs trap young people to fall into their trap through drug addiction,” he said.
Congratulating Team Jammu volunteer, Vishal Mahajan (Vishu) on opening the youth club, Zorawar said, “It is the most appreciable part that our well-educated young unemployed people are going into their own business, it also by means such as young people including students have the chance to stay physically fit and healthy.
Urging young people to stay away from drug addiction and play an important role in nation building and stay engaged in all kinds of sporting activities, he said and called on the government to create more infrastructure such as open and covered stadiums and to promote sports activities in every district of UT so that our younger generation stays healthy and physically fit.
